We measured the real mobile speed in Bangkok Asok, from Asok, on 30/09/2026. With our eSIM connected to mobile network on 5G, the test shows 154.00 Mbps download, 38.70 Mbps upload and 160 ms latency. That is fibre-like speeds, measured in real travel conditions.
To put that in context: at 154 Mbps an offline map downloads in seconds, a video call runs without a stutter and HD video starts instantly. Most travellers use only a fraction of this bandwidth.
