How this dataset works
Every number on these tools traces back to a single open file, data-asia.json, updated monthly. Price-per-GB is computed automatically from live mid-tier catalogue plans. Network quality and transparency are reviewed each month against operator reports, independent coverage data and our own field testing.
- Price per GB - median of mid-tier plans (2-49 GB), excluding teaser and bulk packs.
- Network Quality Index (0-100) - 5G availability, urban-to-rural reach, remote reliability.
- Transparency Index (0-100) - throttling disclosure, expiry clarity, top-up honesty, activation friction.
- Destination Index - composite: 40% quality, 35% price, 25% transparency.
