How we measure, and what we will not fake
Price per GB
For each destination we pull every live plan from our catalogue and take the median price-per-GB of mid-tier plans (2 to 49 GB). We exclude 1 GB teasers (artificially cheap headline rates) and 50 GB+ bulk bundles (few travellers buy them), because both distort the figure a real traveller faces. We use the median, not the mean, so one odd plan cannot skew the result.
How we document operators
Operator data is built from verifiable sources: live pricing from the eSIMaccess API, operator metadata (parent company, 5G launch, market position) cross-checked against official sources, and flags from open CC0 libraries. Each dataset carries its own "as of" date and is reviewed monthly against operator reports and field observation.
Field tests
This is the part no competitor can copy from a desk. Living across Southeast Asia since 2020, I log real speed and coverage measurements on the ground : on actual eSIMs, in actual locations. Those readings feed our mobile speed index and temper the headline numbers: cheap data is only a bargain if coverage holds where you travel.
Reviews
We do not publish invented reviews. Every customer review shown on the site is tied to a paid order and verified by cryptographic token. If a review is on the page, a real purchase is behind it.
