We measured the real mobile speed in Bangkok Wat Mongkon, from Wat Mongkon, on 17/06/2026. With our eSIM connected to mobile network on 5G, the test shows 175.00 Mbps download, 47.10 Mbps upload and 75 ms latency. That is fibre-like speeds, measured in real travel conditions.
To put that in context: at 175 Mbps an offline map downloads in seconds, a video call runs without a stutter and HD video starts instantly. Most travellers use only a fraction of this bandwidth.
In Bangkok Wat Mongkon, the connection easily handles GPS, video calls, social media, tethering and streaming.
