We measured the real mobile speed in Boat Phang Nga Bay, from Zone rurale, on 01/10/2026. With our eSIM connected to dtac on 4G, the test shows 74.60 Mbps download, 47.20 Mbps upload and 147 ms latency. That is very strong 5G, measured in real travel conditions.
To put that in context: at 75 Mbps an offline map downloads in seconds, a video call runs without a stutter and HD video starts instantly. Most travellers use only a fraction of this bandwidth.
In Boat Phang Nga Bay, the connection easily handles GPS, video calls, social media, tethering and streaming.
