We measured the real mobile speed in Osaka Airport KIX, from Airport KIX, on 30/06/2026. With our eSIM connected to NTT Docomo on 5G, the test shows 19.30 Mbps download, 12.60 Mbps upload. That is decent speeds, measured in real travel conditions.
To put that in context: at 19 Mbps an offline map downloads in seconds, a video call runs without a stutter and HD video starts instantly. Most travellers use only a fraction of this bandwidth.
