We measured the real mobile speed in Surat Thani, from Ville, on 29/09/2026. With our eSIM connected to AIS on 5G, the test shows 408.00 Mbps download, 84.20 Mbps upload and 128 ms latency. That is fibre-like speeds, measured in real travel conditions.
To put that in context: at 408 Mbps an offline map downloads in seconds, a video call runs without a stutter and HD video starts instantly. Most travellers use only a fraction of this bandwidth.
In Surat Thani, the connection easily handles GPS, video calls, social media, tethering and streaming.
