Destination Index methodology
How the Destination Index combines network quality and price per GB into a single score.
Formula and weights
The Destination Index is a composite of two components: network quality (55%) and price per GB (45%). Network quality blends published 5G availability, urban and rural reach and remote reliability. The score is computed monthly for every destination in the dataset.

Network quality is compiled from published operator coverage and our own reach and reliability observations. It is not sourced from a third party index for this region.

Known limits
This index uses two components, not the four used by the French and Spanish Destination Index. Scores are therefore not comparable across language editions.
